Kieran is a proud Owner and Director of CheckHome Building Inspections. He is a qualified builder with over 13 years of experience in the industry. Having inspected over 2000 homes, Kieran is able to provide our clients with a broad range of solutions that fulfill their unique property needs.

Owner and Building Inspector (Canterbury)

Tom is a proud owner and director of CheckHome Canterbury. Based in Christchurch, Tom’s background is in high spec construction. He is a licensed building practitioner and registered building inspector. Tom is passionate about property and and he loves helping clients with their property needs. He enjoys the Canterbury life style and is a keen sportsman.

Owner and Building Inspector (Taranaki)

Jason is the proud owner and director of CheckHome Taranaki. He has been in the building industry since 2013 and has experience in renovations, commercial and new builds. Jason was born and bred in Taranaki, giving him the added advantage to knowing the region well.

Owner and Building Inspector (Northland)

Nik is the owner and director of CheckHome Northland. He is a licensed building practitioner and qualified builder with over 15 years’ experience in high end architectural builds, kitset buildings, steel shed construction and aluminum joinery. Nik has lived in the Bay of Islands area since a young age and has been based in Kerikeri since 2007.

Darren, co-owner and director of CheckHome Queenstown Lakes, brings two decades of hands-on experience in the local building industry. A licensed building practitioner and qualified builder, his expertise spans high-profile architectural projects. Based in Queenstown, Darren is deeply connected to the vibrant outdoor lifestyle, which serves as a backdrop for both work and leisure.

Pete is a co-owner and director of CheckHome Queenstown Lakes, is a licensed building practitioner, qualified builder, and quantity surveyor with over ten years of experience building high-end architectural homes in Queenstown. He is passionate about the performance of housing in NZ and helping our clients make informed property decisions.

Owner and Building Inspector (Waikato)

Proud owner of CheckHome Waikato, Logan is a Qualified builder and Licensed Building Practitioner with a deep love for the Waikato region. While being passionate about all things property and construction Logan is also a keen outdoorsman and sportsman, who never misses an opportunity to support his local area and national sports teams.

Building Inspector (Wellington)

Harvey first started building in 2013 and in 2016 became fully qualified. After spending some time abroad, he then went to work on a mixture of building projects. The majority of his building experience has been in residential buildings and renovations.

Building Inspector (Wairarapa)

Scott has been a local to the Wairarapa since 2002. In 2007, he completed his studies at Wairarapa College and then went on to complete his building apprenticeship. Scott’s been building for over ten years and has been a qualified builder since 2012.

Building Inspector (Wellington)

Evan, our licensed building practitioner and qualified builder, has been in the industry since 2016. With a focus on renovations and new builds, Evan brings his expertise to every project. We’re fortunate to have Evan’s skill and passion on our team.

Building Inspector (Canterbury)

Dion is a qualified builder who did his pre-trade qualification in Christchurch and finished his apprenticeship in Marlborough before returning home to Canterbury. He has over 10 years experience in the building industry working in both the commercial and residential sectors.

Building Inspector (Manawatu/Whanganui)

Sam is our inspector in the Wanganui and Palmerston North region, he is a qualified builder and well known local. Sam has 9 years experience in the construction industry across both NZ and Australia. He has an easy going nature, great communication skills and is a real people person.

Operations Manager

In Rebecca’s role as Operations Manager, she is dedicated to ensuring that our company delivers exceptional building inspection services to clients, while also meeting our important business goals and objectives.

Manager – Christchurch & Manawatu/Whanganui Area

Penny is Tom’s wife and an integral part of the Canterbury and Manawatu/Rangitikei teams. With a degree in marketing, Penny also takes care of the day to day bookings and running of both areas.
